Meeting Summary (PDF)
The Northeast Consortium was pleased to co-sponsor this meeting along with the Cooperative Institute for New England Mariculture and Fisheries (CINEMAR), which brought together researchers from the fields of ocean engineering, physical and biological oceanography, fisheries biology, and ecosystem analysis, with commercial fishermen and fishing industry representatives actively engaged in collaborative research. The meeting summarized here was an important step in jointly identifying and building research strategies on closed areas in the Gulf of Maine.
